On Saturday (April 28, 2012) a great day was spent at the Dry Lakes Racing Hall of Fame ceremonies, sponsored by the Gold Coast Roadster and Racing Club. Many legends of Bonneville were in attendance as well as Bob Herda's incredible 999 streamliner that shared the same salt as the Gyronaut. Incredible people, great bar-b-que, and loads of automobilia made for a perfect day. The partially-restored Gyronaut made its first outing since the 1970's! Thanks to all the living legends who shared their memories and outrageous stories about the Gyronaut and its crew, Alex Tremulis, Bob Leppan and Jim Bruflodt.
